"Top Ten Ways to Grow Your Practice"

1. Understand that is your practice too….. not just the doctor's.

2. Understand that every contact with a patient provides an opportunity to WOW them.

3. Remember that two very powerful words are "I'm sorry."

4. Develop rapport with the staff of referring physicians.

5. Reinforce to your patient that your doctors are the best, and that the patient's condition is one they treat frequently and successfully.

6. An angry but satisfied (now that problem is resolved) patient is your best advertisement.

7. Take a minute to offer your patient a sympathetic ear.  You do not know the path they walked before they opened your door.

8. Listen!

9. Carry your practice's cards.  Even better, ask your doctor for your own card.  A small investment for a great return!

10. Always thank your patient.  "Thanks for coming in today."  "Great seeing you."  "Glad you are feeling better."

Please let us know more "Top Tens" you would like to have presented.
